NRM ruling party leaning musician Ibrahim Mayanja alias Big Eye Starboss has turned down Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s invite to attend his 48th birthday over the weekend.
The "Indicator" singer accuses the UPDF Land Forces Commander of insensitivity and lack of sympathy towards his plight at the hands of the radical National Unity Platform (NUP)/People Power supporters.
Because of his ending support and love for the ruling NRM government, it must be remembered that Big Eye has for the past years turned out to be the 'white' hen in the chicken coop as he is always pelted with bottles by purportedly NUP supporters and his stage performances halted.
The singer claims that though he has ended up losing his job as an entertainer because of his royalty to the ruling NRM party, its absurd that big wings in the party only remember him during times of merry making.
Big Eye was recently chased from the burial of the late Mathias Walukagga’s dad in Masaka and despite all the difficulties he goes through, NRM has not come to his rescue.
Having been invited to attend Gen Muhoozi's birthday fete over the weekend, Big Eye has not disappointed as he has snubbed the invite saying the General has never sympathised with him.
"I hv no reason to be part of Gen @mkainerugaba Birthday celebrations cz 4 all the bad situations am going thru right nw he has neva sympathized with me yet all is happening to me 4 defending the GVT he enjoys.Evn lost my job.Sry to the comrades i hv offended.Tnx 4 d invtn though," tweeted singer Big Eye.
