Uganda police has impounded city socialite Charles Olim alias Sipapa's infamous Toyota Land Cruiser V8 vehicle Blizz Uganda has learned.
The development follows a directive from the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Martins Okoth Ochola to have his rides impounded over the continuous flouting of traffic laws.
Mr Ochola reasoned that Sipapa’s vehicles had become a menace on the road following several complaints from road users of a numberless Toyota V8 vehicle that had become a problem on the busy city roads.
AIPG Asan Kasingye who also dubs as the police Chief Political Commissar revealed on Thusrday through his Twitter handle how one of Sipapa’s vehicles had been impounded.
"This vehicle belonging to Sipapa is now impounded by @PoliceUg," tweeted Afande Asan Kasingye.
It must be noted Sipapa, who some Ugandans believe is untouchable even by police has being involved into such controversies for a number of times.
