Blizz Uganda has learned how Golden Band will so soon start entertaining its fans once again after rebranding with the signing of new band members.
The development comes years almost after the collapse of one of the celebrated music bands in the country as members allegedly clashed over money, sex and witch craft issues.
The once vibrant had been left with only one name, Mesach Semakula after all its members quit.
Members allegedly started clashing over money, sex and witch craft issues and as matter of fact, the break up and collapse of Golden band was imminent seeing acts like Maureen Nantume, Catherine Kusasira and Ronald Mayinja, Karitas Kario, Carol Nantongo, Mayinja,Micheal Kinene, Doreen Mutiibwa, Grace Sekamatte among others left the band.
Having gotten done with auditions, Golden Band is now ready to move on l with the likes of Catherine Kusasira, Ronald Lutaaya, Sophie Nantongo and Papa Mesach Semakula back to tame the young artistes and kick start and new music journey.
According to Catherine Kusasira, they are ready to go as far as entertaining their fans with Golden Band's first show after rebranding being set on Easter.
"We have recruited a talented group of musicians and dancers after auditions that will be merging up with us to thrill our fans once again. Expect the best of the best, some can even replace us given the fact that we might be attending to tasks in the East African Legislative Assembly," said Catherine Kusasira during an exclusive interview with a youtuber.
Prior, Golden Band quit Eagles Production in 2014 after co-founders started bickering.
