Ugandan multi-talented media personality Sheila Carol Gashumba has revealed out on what made her rejoin Uganda's TV stations.
Sheila Gashumba has defend her return to the big screen after a few years in a self-induced leave. Contrary to what her critics were saying, Sheila has revealed that she never said that she was quitting Uganda's TV stations for good.
She further added that she only talked about the poor pay she was being subjected to at her former workstation. Sheila futher narrated that when Douglas Lwanga connected her to NBS TV boss, Kin Kariisa, she was offered a very difficult deal to resist and more so Kin Kariisa respects his workers unlike at the former station.
“I never said that I’m quitting TV forever. I only took a break and spoke out against the poor pay that myself and other workers were being subjected to at my former workstation. However, when Douglas Lwanga linked me with Kin Kariisa, we talked and I was given a huge contract that I couldn’t say no when my conditions were met. Everyone knows that I love money and am rich, So if my account is happy, that’s what matters. Besides I’m very talented and I know it,” She said.
"I've been receiving countless deals especially from radio stations but I've always turned them down countlessly."
Its two years now ever since Sheila Gashumba blasted her former bosses at Serena Hotel-based station NTV for paying Journalists peanuts despite the efforts they put in.
