Proline advances to the group stages of CAF Confederation Cup

Proline FC have for the first time in their football history reached the group stages of CAF confederation Cup group stages with a 2:1 victory over Rwanda's AS Kigali. 

Playing at home Star Times Stadium Lugogo, the Purple and Yellow striped side won on a 3:2 aggregate score after the away tie one week ago ended in a one all stalemate in Kigali. 

The Matia Lule coached side scored through Ivan Bogere in the 12th and 21st minute whereas the visitors had their consolation through Benedata Janvier in the 82nd minute.

The milestone means the Mujib Kasule owned team is assured of at least US $ 275000 if they finish fourth in the group stages.
