Thirteen time Uganda Premier League champions KCCA FC have on Thursday 14th October made a launch to the new season 2021/2022.
On the launch, KCCA FC head coach and manager Morley Byekwaso named shot stopper Benjamin Ochan as new club Captain. The former AFC Leopards custodian will be deputized by senior player and midfielder Gift Ali Abubakar, Dennis Iguma and Julius Poloto.
The club also awarded top scorer Charles Lwanga and Peter Magambo who was named the fans' favorite player of the season with a one million plaque.
The club chairman Chairman Martin Ssekajja promised a new "Motivation" to the club's next Top Scorer. He said of land titles to the players in case they won the league.
KCCA FC who will be in search for a 14th league title opens their new season with a fixture against new league entrants Gaddafi FC on Saturday 16th October,2021 at Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
