A fresh verbal war seems to have broken out between Dembe FM's radio presenter Eddie Ssendi and legendary singer, Halima Namakula.
This came on after the radio analyst made comments towards the veteran Singer over the weekend while on Dembe Fm's Talk and Talk Show, He (Ssendi) and workmates Jenkins Mukasa and Kasuku while on the show made comments about the recently concluded E-concert that has been happening on NBS TV every Saturday,
They went on to comment about some musicians who did their best while performing and that some musicians like the Kimbewo singer had totally bad vocals all they could do was just flatting out.
Still on the show, Ssendi revealed that Halima Namakula is one person who doesn’t know how to sing that he doesn’t know how she even made it to the top.
On hearing all this, the legendary Halima couldn't hold it up as she directly fired back to Ssendi,
"It’s true what Ssendi said, I don’t know how to sing. I don’t have those sweet vocals but what I know is that when we step on stage, I can beat you hands down. I haven’t seen anyone in Uganda who is better than me while performing on stage.” Halima said.
"I've made lots of money and assets from my poor vocals and I don't care on whatsoever Ssendi speaks out on me, he has got nothing much better than me property wise, Am making lots of money from my online platforms just like how they used to disrespect Eddy Kenzo that he doesn't know how sing but look now no artist makes lots of money than him online in Uganda now", she added.
“I actually don’t know who Ssendi is to be honest. If he’s short and one of the shortest men in Uganda then I know him. My son once told me that if your the shortest, you have to speak out loud to be heard.” said Halima.
