Express FC have on Wednesday 4th August,2021 played to a one all draw with Malawian side Nyasa Big Bullets FC at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
Current Uganda Premier League champions Express FC got the lead as early as in the fifth minute through senior player Muzamir Mutyaba. Mutyaba was making his debut at the club and dodged past Big Bullets FC defence before he slotted past goalkeeper.
Express FC had held on to the lead not until in the 66th minute when Express FC made a poor clearance in the box that was penalized by an equalizer by Chiukepo Msowoya.
The draw means Uganda's Express FC remains at the top the group (B) with four points after they won their first group match against South Sudan's Atlabara FC 1:0.
Express FC will end their group B matches with a fixture against Young Africans FC on Saturday at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium at 4pm.
Uganda's other side in the tournament KCCA FC will be in action on Thursday 5th August against Zanzibar's KMKM at Azam Sports Complex at 7pm. The Kasasiro Boys lost their group opener to Tanzania'a Azam FC on Monday 2nd August, 2021.
