Ugandan female singer Tracy Kirabo alias Pia Pounds has shared her inspirational experience with her fans through her trying journey to registering "TUPAATE" hit song after spending 10 years of failed career in the industry.
The promising singer has been part of the music industry for the past decade without giving up despite not getting a hit song.
In an Instagram Post, Pia had to start small by hustling for fees for her rent and tuition as a bakery attendant, supermarket attendant, restaurant cashier among others but never let her dream of becoming a big music star slip out of her hands as she hoped to become a star with a number of hit songs one day.
With now one of the biggest house anthems in the region in "Twende Tupaate" hit song, the singer has encouraged her fans to hustle hard since 'hard work pays' while embracing every kind of criticism so as to make it to greater heights like she is currently cruising onto.
"Dear my fans, old and new, I appreciate you hard. Maximum respect I want to let you guys know that I had a rough road to TUPAATE. like most stories...
I started working at the age of 15, I worked as a bakery attendant (Ntake) an Airtel line vendor (street of shoprite) supermarket attendant (Cinderella supermarket Bunga), restaurant cashier (sound cup) and insurance marketer (ICEA). All these jobs were to pay my tuition and rent but my dream to be a BIG Star didn't get smaller no matter the job I did, no matter what life threw at me. DO NOT LET GO OF YOUR DREAM.
I want to Inspire you to keep working hard on your dream and to let in every sort of criticism in the most positive way. Work, do something to let you closer to your goals, practice everyday if you have to. Don't let anything hold you back because what you want to be is what you will be, through the support you got from the people you inspire."- Pia Pounds
