Prime Minister Robina Nabbanja has revealed that her life is in danger as she and her family just received threats by people who went all the way to her country home in Kakumiro to deliver a warning message.

The messenger she said, told her family members to warn her to back off her anti-corruption crusade.

“If somebody can drive from Kampala up to my home area to look for my brother who is a town clerk in the village to ask him such a question that means something is wrong. I will inform my boss, the head of state, if somebody can drive from Kampala up to Kakumiro to look for my brother and ask him “what does your sister want?” I cannot take that lightly,” Nabbanja said.

The Premier made the revelation after meeting the Bunyoro Parliamentary Caucus.

Nabbanja’s public outcry comes a week after she rejected substandard relief food to flood stricken residents of Kasese District.

In a video which has since gone viral, Nabbanja during her visit to the mountainous district rejected a truckload of beans, blankets and mosquito nets because they were substandard.
