Dancehall singer Cinderella Sanyu aka Cindy claims she would be on the streets by then as a serial beggar had she not done a huge "Boom Party Concert" before the lockdown.
While sharing her thoughts about the effects of the pandemic to the entertainment industry, the President Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) has expressed worry about the alarming situation her fellow artists and other members in the arts industry are passing through since their daily source of income was paralyzed by the lockdown.
The "Bidagala" singer who last year registered a sold out music concert at the Lugogo Cricket Oval is more than grateful to the Almighty for the previous success since she can till now survive.
Through an Instagram interaction with her fans, the self proclaimed "King herself" has revealed how her diehards would be doing a car wash for her had she not registered a successful music concert.
"Sometimes I wonder, If I had not done a huge concert before the lockdown, what would have happened? Or worse still If I had done the concert and It flopped, what would I have done? Because u guys realize its been almost two years since artists worked in Uganda like, I just wonder! Maybe u guys would be doing a car wash for me now, God is good!" said Cindy through an Instagram video.
