Bunyoro side Kitara FC have on Tuesday 18th May, 2021 won their match against fellow league debutants Malaba Youths Development Association FC (MYDA) 3:1.

A brace from Tumusiime Isaac and a solo from Mwesigwa Stuart handed Kitara a vital win to boost their survival hopes.

Kitara FC who remain glued at table bottom are now seven points off safety with five matches to go.

On the sad note, Kitara faces some of the toughest opponents in their final five matches which includes a trip to Express FC, a home match against KCCA FC, a trip to title favorites URA FC,and a home encounter with SC Villa will seem a real tag of war to win.

In the other matches played on the day, Soltilo Bright Stars continued its unbeaten run to nine matches with a barren draw away to Onduparaka. They have won seven and drawn two.

At Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium, Wakiso, Wakiso Giants beat visitors BUL FC 2:1. BUL's Goalkeeper Kimera gave the hosts the lead in the 13th minute before Vianney Ssekajugo doubled the lead on the 62nd minute mark. Joseph Ssemujju pulled one for the Oil makers with 18 minutes to play for but hopes for a point didn't last as the final whistle went without a second.
