Uganda model Doreen Kabareebe won big at the 1st annual Zikomo Awards ceremony 2021 that was held at the Government Complex Buildings in Lusaka, Zambia on 9 April.
The annual event celebrated outstanding achievements across music, fashion, fitness and humanitarianism as well as honouring media personalities and outfits, actors, social media influencers, movie directors, comedians, photographers and entrepreneurs, among others.
The top model whom on several occasions has faced criticism locally for promoting nudity given her skimpy dressing code capitalised on her dream career thereby getting paid with two Awards.
Accordingly, Kabareebe scooped the Best Humanitarian Award in Africa as well as the Best Female Model Africa Award in the highly contested Zikomo Awards that had other Ugandan nominees such as young rapper Fresh Kid and comedy duo Maulana and Reign.
