Before the new league entrants went into their Uganda Cup round of 32 match against Proline on Tuesday 6th April,2021, the side announced how they had mutually parted ways with the gaffer.
Part of the official statement released by the club read....
"The management of MYDA football Club and Coach Musafiri Abdul Samadu have agreed to terminate his employment contract by mutual consent."
The tactician guided the side to their maiden season in the Star Times Uganda Premier League, the top football division of Uganda plus a trophy in the regional league.
The club also announced that Coach Elisa Madanda will take over the head coach's role assisted by Kasirye James, both on interim basis effectively.
The club also thanked Coach Musafiri for his services and the tremendous contribution towards the achievements and the club's long term vision, thereby wishing him all the best in his next endeavors.
The club will make official communication on its various media platforms concerning the further developments in our technical department.
MYDA FC sit second from bottom on the sixteen team Uganda Premier League table with six points from one win, three draws and twelve losses after match day sixteen.
