Kampala Metropolitan Deputy Police Spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigyire has confirmed the arrest of Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB) scout identified as Edward Lubale in Buikwe district for possessing and leaking the PLE Exams.
According to Luke, Edward was suspected to have the Primary Leaving Examination - PLE scripts as deployed in Wakiso district particularly Kira municipality.
Asp Owoyesigyire said that the scout was found with different PLE examination papers deemed to be for this year’s exams.
“He was found with different PLE examination papers deemed to be for this year’s exams at one school in Kyaliwajjala called Little-Lina primary school, one person at this school was suspicious and alerted police,” said Owoyesigyire.
Owoyesigyire also revealed that police have received information about some people busy selling dubious papers to some schools and are following up the matter.
