Express FC's unbeaten run has been brought to an end by a 1:0 loss to UPDF courtesy of a 17th minute goal from Kitara Alex.
Express FC who had won 8 and drawn four in their last 12 matches and was searching for a fourth away win lost for the first time to a side which had won only two matches in the last seven matches.
The result means Express FC slip to second and loses table summit to Tax Collectors URA FC who beat Police FC 2:0
URA FC scored through Shafic "Kuchi" Kagimu 24' and Cromwel Rwothomio 68' to move to the top of the table with 30 points.
At FUFA Technical center Njeru, visitors KCCA FC beat Kyetume FC 1:0 to move fourth on the sixteen team log. Bright Anukani scored in the 66th minute to give the garbage collectors a deserved win.
Busoga United also won their first match of the season with a 1:0 win against new league entrants MYDA FC. Shaka Sozi scored for Busoga United in the 56th minute, the match's only goal.
Action resumes on Wednesday 10th March,2020 with three matches. Kitara FC hosts Wakiso Giants at Kavumba Recreation Center, Vipers will entertain SC Villa at St Mary's Stadium, Kitende whereasa Bright Stars will be at home Kavumba Recreation Center against BUL FC.
