Renowned band musician Ronald Mayinja has revealed the reason as yo why he reportedly stole a mobile phone from the Observer newspaper journalist. The musician says he feared being framed because he stated how Presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias Bobi Wine is destined to become the next President of Uganda.

The "Africa" singer has hair raised revelers after being reported at Salama Road Police Station for storming off with a mobile phone owned by the Observer newspaper reporter Yudaya Nangonzi whom she faulted for taking a recording that was going to land him in hot soup with the state.

According to the NRM Party leaning supporter, he made a slip of the tongue about Bobi Wine's Presidential potential and in fear of framing him, he had to walk away with a stolen mobile phone.

"Yes. Because we all know and agree that Kyagulanyi is the next president. And I said that mistakenly didn’t know that she was recording . And they want to frame me now. But come 14th,Jan. Vote wisely," stated Ronald Mayinja through his socials.
