Singer Ykee Benda Wycliffe Tugume has come out with some food for thought to the new kid on block Opoka Eric alias EeZzy not to dare redo his "Tumbiza Sound" hit song unless he is compensated with shs30million.
After a tough meeting with Uganda Communications Commission (UCC), Tumbiza Sound hit singer reached a resolution to do a Remix / remake of his controversial song to follow Covid-19 SOP's as per the Ministry of Health guidelines.
According to reliable info, Tumbiza Sound hit maker reached a resolution with officials from the UCC Officials and both parties agreed the singer will produce a Remix of the song, this time with a lyrical content that is aligned to COVID 19 guidelines by the Ministry of Health.
As a President of the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA), the "Ma Bebe" singer Eezzy shouldn't be frustrated by the too much pressure from UCC and Ministry of Health to dilute his music works unless he is compensated for his sweat.
"I have just gotten the news that the @MinofHealthUG has asked or ordered Ezzy to re do the song and share with them to approve the content .
As a president I am so against this and I strongly advise you Ezzy do not dare Re do that song ! Unless they pay you more than 30m," tweeted Ykee Benda.
"Tumbiza Sound" that was released over four months ago is arguably one of the biggest song this calendar year in the music industry given its hilarious lyrics and danceable beats.
