Arua Hill SC announced Gadafi Gadinho’s move to Barifa on Tuesday morning after the midfield maestro penned two years contract that will keep him with us till November 2022.

The creative midfielder who joined from Mbarara City opened up to the club media about his move stating the comfort provided by home contributed greatly in his selection.

“It feels comfortable playing locally than anywhere else. Normally when I’m at home, I get the chance to see my kids and it excites me, so I had to decide to join Arua Hill SC when the opportunity presented itself,” Gadinho said.

“I also wanted to play alongside my former teammates like Agau, Caeser Leku and many others here with whom we have been playing together before from Drum Team to club level.” He added.

Gadinho is a technically gifted player who stands out for creativity, vision, assists and goals. His ability to retain, dribble and pick up clever and pinpoint passes is exceptional.

Cypher commonly known among his peers is not new to the FUFA Big League as he participated and played a key role in helping Onduparaka FC earn promotion to the Premier League in 2015/16 season.

When asked if the task that is a head is more of a repeat to him and will be simple to complete having walked the streets of Big League before, the 26 year old who recognized the competitiveness in the league suggested his teammates’ experience and team work will be key for the dream to be realized.

“Big League isn’t an easy competition in Ugandan football, But I have played it before and with so many experienced players around with whom we’ve played at Big League level before, if we work as a team we can achieve it as long as we win all home games, which are very important in the bid to climb up.”
