The Buzz TeenzAwards return this December 13th in a virtual event as earlier announced last month. The Mtn Pulse sponsored event has been the voice for the teenagers for the last 13 years and this year they have again spoken. Fans have been nominating their stars for the last 3 weeks and the top most nominated will head into the voting stage where the eventual winners will be awarded on Sunday 13thDecember.

This year’s nominations are dominated by Tv host turned artist Crysto Panda with 8 nominations.Panda has seen a breakout year with his two hit songs; Kyolina Omanya and Bino Byebiluma Abayaye.

Sheebah and Karole Kasita follow closely with 6nominations each. Karole’s Balance video has been a massive hit with the teenagers and the six nods are testimony to that.

The reigning female artist, Sheebah Kalungi is not about to let her crown go without a fight. She comes in with 6 nominations including Artist of the year, female artist, song of the year, video of the year, hottest collabo and dancehallsong.

This year, Buzz introduced a new category for Teenz underground rapper. Hundreds of young unknown rappers have submitted their freestyle videos for achance to record with Artin Pro and a potential breakthrough.

The videos will be posted daily and the public will vote. The final 4 will face off in a rap battle at the Buzz Teenz Awards and a winner will be awarded a recording deal with ArtinPro for a single and a music video sponsored by BuzzTeenz.
