Opposition National Unity Platform, NUP Party President Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias MP Bobi Wine was last Tuesday given a new name "Obin" during his ongoing presidential campaigns in West Nile.
The Kyadondo East Legislator wholeheartedly welcomed his new name "Obin" which literally means "for the People" that he got during his campaign trail in Pakwach and Arua last Tuesday.
Through his socials, he has even alerted his lady, Barbie Kyagulanyi about the new family name thereby informing her not to be surprised if she is called Mrs Obin while moving around Arua Park in Kampala where most of his supporters from West Nile reside.
"Obin" (for the people) happens to be MP Bobi Wine's second name that he has been baptized from his supporters during his ongoing presidential campaigns the previous being "Musinguzi" (victor) the name that was given to him during the launch of his 2021-2026 presidential election manifesto at Kakyeka stadium in Mbarara last Saturday.
"Dear Barbie Kyagulanyi, just to let you know that my brothers and sisters in West Nile gave me a beatiful name Obin, which means "For the people". So do not be surprised when you're moving around Arua Park and someone calls you Mrs. Obin," revealed Bobi Wine through his socials.
