Tom Masiko who spent last season on loan at the "Purple Sharks " from Vipers has today Tuesday 4th August been announced as a permanent signing for the the club, Wakiso Giants.
The club website read;
"We are delighted to announce that Tom Masiko has joined the club on a permanent contract from Vipers SC".
Tom Masiko speaking to the club website expressed his gratitude upon signing permanently.
“I am happy to make a permanent move. I had good time here last season and want to continue my marriage with the club as well as create history here".
Masiko who is reckoned for donning shirt 7 entered the club's history when he became the first player to score a Uganda Premier league goal in the club's debut season (last season 2019/2020).
Masiko lauded his former employer.... “I want to thank Vipers for the great time I had at Kitende, the coaches that have handled me and all my teammates as well as management".
He scored scored and assisted four goals last season as the club dubbed as the "Pride of Wakiso" finished 10th with 30 points from 8 wins, 6 draws and 11 losses.
