African football's governing body, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed new dates for the U-17 Women's World Cup.
The matches were due to be played in May but for the COVID-19 pandemic got postponed. The first leg fixtures are now scheduled for 30th October-November (first leg) as the second legs will take place between 19th-21st November this year.
Only three slots are available for the African continent and six nations will be battling out for a ticket in the tournament in India early 2021.
Uganda beat Tanzania 6:2 on aggregate to reach this point where they are to tussle it out with Tanzania, conquerors of Sao Tome on a 10:0 aggregate score.
The other two fixtures will see South Africa take on Morocco whereas Ghana will battle it out with Nigeria.
The FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup is an international biennial football tournament for females aged under 17. Spain are the defending Champions having won the last edition in 2018 held in Uruguay.
