Proline FC Docked with Six points by the Competitions disciplinary panel

Proline FC have been docked with six points and six goals as a penalty for missing a match against SC Villa in the weekend. 

 

Proline FC were supposed to host SC Villa on Saturday 7th September, 2019 at the Star times stadium, Lugogo. But the Mujib Kasule owned team wrote a letter to the Uganda Premier League secretariat explaining how they were to miss the game sighting the international break as a reason.

Proline FC quoted FIFA saying that if it is an international break, all domestic leagues are meant to go in recess. 

The team had two players (Mujuzi Mustafa and Bright Anukan) on the national squad that faced Kenya in a friendly match on 8th September, 2019 and Proline say, they could not play without their star. 

However, talking to the CEO of the Uganda Premier League Secretariat, Bernard Bainamani told Blizz Uganda that it is for teams with three and above players on national duty that can have their match rescheduled.

Decision.

The FUFA competitions disciplinary panel orders that:

1. Proline loses the match against SC Villa by forfeiture .

2. Proline be docked six points and six goals from the accumulated or to be accumulated in accordance with article 24 (9) of the FUFA competitions rules. 

3.That the table standings be updated accordingly. 

4. For bringing the game into disrepute, Proline FC is fined UGX. 5.000.000 (Five Million shillings only) go be paid by 18th September, 2019.
