Zouk and band musician Mbabazi Ruth alias Princess Amiirah has invested big in the restaurant business as a way of struggling for survival amidst the hard times of the lockdown.
The entertainment industry is currently crippled ever since the Presidential ban on public gatherings was effected as a measure to curb the deadly COVID-19 pandemic no wonder the "Sibookya'' hit singer was wise enough to start up a side business so as to sustain her needs amidst the lockdown.
As a graduate with a Diploma in Catering, the Beauty Queen is operating a restaurant dubbed Amisup Cafe located at Kabuusu opposite Monalisa Pub where she is currently harvesting her survival.
"I'm proud of my profession as a chef because on a daily, everyone has to eat, be it a president or the Kabaka. So, I'm not ashamed to be operating this business," said Princess Amiirah during an exclusive interview.
Apart from music and catering business, the "Jangu Okwekule" singer too possesses a big shop at Capital Arcade in the city center where she deals in selling fashion wear though the business is currently not operational.
