Police Arrests 11 People For Throwing Bottles at Bebe Cool

Under pressure law forcers, The Uganda Police has confirmed arresting 11 suspects for pelting bottles at singer Big Size Bebe Cool at Cindy's Boom Party concert last Friday at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

Following the ban that was imposed on MP Bobi Wine's music shows, artistes especially those favoring the current NRM ruling government have of the past been subjected to bottle pelting allegedly by those who believe it was unfair to ban the ghetto gladiator's music shows.

Following the "Wire Wire" singer's night mare last Friday at the Cricket Oval, the First Son had been forced to intervene by coming out to accuse the Uganda police of not doing enough as far as giving protection to artistes especially those leaning with the NRM ruling government.

During the weekly presser at the police headquarters located at Naguru, the Uganda Police mouth piece, CP Fred Enanga has confirmed how their covert officers managed single out the goons during Cindy's show and are being held at Jinja Road Police Station.

"The suspects were arrested by our covert officers that were within the crowd. They are detained at Jinja Road Police Station," Police spokesman Fred Enanga said on Monday.

CP Enanga said they aren't going to allow pelting of artistes with bottles at events, saying it can cause a stampede.
