Wasswa Bbosa Loses His First Match at Express FC As they Battle URA FC

URA FC closed the gap on third placed SC Villa with a hard fought away win against Express FC at Muteesa II stadium Wankulukuku.

A 15th minute strike from Mikidad Ssenyonga handed the Tax collectors a half time lead before Ntege Anywaru doubled the lead five minutes into second half.

Wasswa Bbosa's side halved the lead on the 72nd minute mark but was not enough to secure a draw for the former Tooro United coach as he succumbed to his first loss of his second stint at the helm of the Red Army.

URA FC are tied on 40 points with SC Villa in third position only separated with a goal difference of two, whereas Express FC stand 12th with 28 points.

At Kirinya Jinja SS Playground the Mighty Arena, Busoga United beat Wakiso Giants 1:0. New acquisition Shariph Kimbowa embarked on David Bagoole's well laid ball to complete his maiden goal of the season.

The win means the Busoga United remain unbeaten in five home matches of the second round and stand fifth on the table with 39 points, 11 adrift of table leaders Vipers SC. Wakiso Giants are 10th with both teams left with 6 matches to go.

At the Star Times Stadium, Proline FC breathed some relief with a 2:1 home win against fellow strugglers Tooro United. Bright Anukani's brace in the 17th and 74th minutes were enough to hand the Purple and yellow stripped side a deserved win. Kawooya Mike pulled one for the visitors in the 88th minute.

Proline remain at the bottom of the table needing three points to move out of relegation as fellow strugglers Police FC and Tooro United faulter.
