Who is Marcus Ali Lwanga? Story Of How He Stole £100,000 from a Security Van in U.K

The question on everyone’s mind recently has been about the new man spoiling former TV presenter Sheila Gashumba with loads of money, expensive trips, treats and money splashing but now Blizz Uganda has gotten exclusive info exposing the man known as Marcus Ali Lwanga.

Real Names Marcus Ali Lwanga but commonly known as God’s Plan, is a British Citizen of Ugandan origin who got arrested for high-level robbery back in 2008 after using school children to rob £100,000 which is approximately UGx474,860,217 when converted to Uganda shillings.

When he was still 21years old in 2008, Marcus Ali Lwanga used McDonald’s restaurant as a recruiting ground for these kids to do his job, dressed in school uniforms they robbed guards carrying boxes of cash from shops to Group 4 Securicor vehicles.

Ali Lwanga paid these kids a paltry fee in return for handing him the loot, while he kept at a safe distance in case anything went wrong but unfortunately he was later on caught and arrested after being caught by a new weapon – a dye called SmartWater that exploded from the cashboxes and permanently stained the banknotes and the robbers’ skin hence the kids giving him away as the master planner.

After getting caught, four teenagers aged between 14 and 16 admitted conspiracy to rob at Wood Green Crown Court, in North London as the youngest of all robbers was 13years at the time of the offence.

Ali Lwanga protested his innocence but was found guilty by a jury of three counts of conspiracy to rob hence getting arrested for 8 years which he spent in jail.

“Lwanga was a very dangerous, ruthless Fagin-type character, employing young men to carry out the thefts on his behalf. He was looking to recruit young boys whom he paid a pittance for committing these crimes. They would go out, commit the crimes, take the money back to him and he would take the greatest share. They were wearing school uniform under their hoodies,” Detective Chief Inspector Gary Donnison from the Met’s Flying Squad said.

Lwanga, of Baron Walk, Canning Town, would pay the juveniles less than £100 a time to steal the cash boxes from security vans and the boys were not armed, but ‘rushed’ the guards and wrestled the boxes from them.

Police said that two of the youths overpowered a security guard, stealing a box containing £3,640. After officers watched the box explode in the back of the Megane, they arrested the boys.

Lwanga was tracked down and arrested three weeks later on February 12. Police say he orchestrated at least nine robberies in less than two months, netting more than £100,000.

Four of the robberies involved SmartWater dye, and some dyestained cash was found beneath a mattress at his aunt’s house. Tim Ramm, of Group 4 Securicor, said the SmartWater was now put in every cash box.

We are yet to know how and when he came back to Uganda to start dating and sleeping with TV presenter Sheila Gashumba but atleast we all know that the two are madly in love with each other and can not hide their affection fro each other.
