KCCA FC Makes their First Signing of the Year 2020

Since the departure of Magician Allan Okello who recently joined Algeria's side Paradou AC, the thirteen time league champions had not signed any player but late on Thursday acquired the services of Moses Aliro Okabo.

Okabo, a KCCA FC academy graduate was signed on a 5 year contract from Arua's Dove all stars and will don't Jersey 3. On his arrival, the player who can play on either flanks had this to say when talking to KCCA FC website.

"I am happy to be back here. I want to start again. The beauty is I know the players well and I played with most of them while in the KCCA academy like Kizza, Poloto, Magambo, Achai, Obenchan, Anaku and others.I want to work hard and make the fans, coaches happy and also show I deserve to don the shirt. I can’t wait to get started".

KCCA FC play CATIDA FC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 64 but the fixture seem to come too early for the young star to snatch a slot in the lineup.

The new acquisition who is also a product of Kibuli SS a school that has nurtured many football giants like Mike Mutebi, Abdullah Mubiru, Allan Okello mention but a few, is thought to be part of the squad when his side visit Kyetume in the League on 28th January, 2020.

KCCA are the league defending champions currently standing second on a sixteen team table with 38 points from 12 wins, 2 draws and 4 losses. They are still in contention for the trophy as only four points separate them with table leaders Vipers who have lost the last two mathes in all competition.
