Songbird Rema Namakula's imposed in-law and city tycoon Godfrey Kirumira was over the weekend involved in a fist fight with the military over land wrangles thereby ending up being thumped to capacity and ordered to remove his shoes.
It is reported that the scuffle was sparked off on saturday 23rd when Lt. Charles Angina, The Deputy Coordinator Operation Wealth Creation sent his boys to to survey a piece of land near Kirumira’s Hotel International in Muyenga.
They found Kirumira on site hence fists ending up banging car bonnets in fury as tempers flared and that is when the scuffle you see in pictures ensued as the Bagagga Kwagalana Chairman tussled out with the military donned in civilian attire.
It is near clear who owns this piece of land but it could be so that the owner used it as collateral to acquire a loan from Kirumira.
But it should be noted that Kirumira is not new to land wrangles as currently, the Wakiso Resident District Commissioner Rose Kirabira and the Entebbe Deputy RDC Noor Njuki are clashing over a 11 acre piece of land involving Kirumira and Engineer Moses Angol situated along Mabamba Road in Kasanje Sub County, Wakiso District.
