Kyooto Media Group Ltd is set to premiere its movie Judas Kiss this Sunday Evening. The Red Carpet Event will happen on November 17th at National Theater, Denton Road, Kampala starting from 6:00 PM. The movie is directed by renowned Filmmaker Kizito Samuel Savior written and Produced by Kabahuma Josephine with Dags PK the director of 2094 studios as the Co Producer.

Multi-award-winning filmmaker Kizito Samuel Saviour paves way for more young talent in the Uganda Film Industry through his newly established production company KYOOTO MEDIA GROUP LIMITED that runs by the Brand Name KYOOTO (a name inspired by the Luganda native phrase to mean a fire place where folk stories were told in an African setting).
BACKGROUND: From 1st March 2019 through KYOOTO he launched a mentorship program aimed at nurturing young talents into the skills of Script Writing, Acting and Directing among other departments as a route for them to join the Ugandan Film Industry as experienced and trained individuals, the program was facilitated by the founder himself throughout March, April, May and June, and with assistance and partnership from Mpaka Records, 2094 Studios and CocoNote Studios, the participants were able to make 4 short films (Fidelity, Esteem, Equanimity and Demented) which received their Red-Carpet Premiere on Tuesday 30th July 2019 at the Uganda National Cultural Centre’s National Theatre of Uganda where they screened to a crowd of film lovers that filled up the 376 seater-auditorium to capacity.
Currently, Equanimity and Demented have scooped selections and nominations at two film festivals in Ghana; Accra Independent Film Festival and NDIVA Women’s Film Festival.
Thereafter, through August, September and October, the same participants proceeded onto another journey of making their first full length feature film (74 minutes full movie) titled JUDAS KISS which is slated to premiere on Sunday 17th November 2019 at National Theatre from 6:00 PM at 20,000 UGX and 50,000 UGX
In the making of JUDAS KISS Movie, Kyooto partnered with; Mpaka Records, a record label and music production house owned by Ykee Benda the musician providing music scoring and sound design services for films and 2094 Studios A film production company that’s coproducing the films with Kyooto.
JUDAS KISS SYNOPSIS: Judas Kiss follows the story of Jude, a normal campus guy with his girlfriend Linda whom they share a class, after school Judas spends time at his sugar mummy, Princess Angela’s house where he works as her servant in all her desires, tragedy comes when the sugar mummy’s money disappears in presence of Judas at the house leading him into getting abducted with his campus girlfriend, will they return the money?

KIZITO SAMUEL SAVIOUR; Worked on Judas Kiss as a Producer, Director, Cinematographer and Editor;
Kizito Samuel Saviour born as Kizito Samuel is a Ugandan filmmaker who majors in Producing, Writing and Directing, he possesses other skills like Cinematography and Film Editing among others, and he is also a filmmaking mentor to a number of upcoming filmmakers and actors in Uganda.
He is the founder of the Uganda Academy Selection Committee (UASC) approved by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ International Feature Film Award Executive Board (THE OSCARS)
He is a nominee in Nigeria at the African Movie Academy Awards 2017 (AMAAs) in the category of Best First Feature Film by a Director for his directorial debut Bunjako which he also wrote.
This is followed by being a Best Film Director Award Winner at the Viewers’ Choice Movie Awards 2018 in Uganda, Best Screenplay Award Winner at The African Film Festival 2019 in USA and Pearl International Film Festival 2018 in Uganda, nominee as Golden Director at Ghana’s Golden Movie Award Africa 2018, Best Director Indigenous at Zulu African Academy Awards (ZAFAA Global Awards) 2018 in the UK for his latest directorial feature film The Forbidden that has scooped about 13 international awards and over 80 nominations all over the world since February 2018.
He is also the founder of KYOOTO, a multifaceted full-service entertainment and media production company based in Kampala, Uganda that specializes in producing audio-visual content in various dimensions for Film, TV, Online and other platforms as well as using film to rehabilitate and promote talent development.

Josephine Kabahuma is a Ugandan actress, writer, producer and director working with Kyooto Media Group; she has worked on a number of projects as a writer, actress, producer, director and script supervisor including; Kemi, Fidelity, Esteem, Demented, Equanimity, Judas Kiss and Breach among others.
She is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Communication at Makerere University Kampala.

Born as Asiimwe Talemwa Douglas, is an actor, producer, director, writer, photographer and Journalist, team leader at Access 256 a website dedicated for content in relation to the Uganda Film Industry, a Director at 2094 Studios a production house that majors in film production, videography, photography and graphic design. He is a website designer at KAR Graphics Inc.
He has worked on various projects as an Actor, Director, Cinematographer and Producer like; Bishop Hannington, GirlChild In Dilemma, Dangerous Desires, The Contact, Esteem, Demented, Equanimity and Judas Kiss among others.
Tumusiime Alexander She worked as a Costume Designer and Makeup Artist for Judas Kiss plus featuring in a cameo role.
She is a Ugandan Actress, Makeup Artist and Costume Designer, a hardworking dedicated lady who pays attention to detail and willing to learn. She has worked on a number of projects as an Actress, Makeup Artist and Costume Designer which include; Esteem, Equanimity, Demented, Judas Kiss and Breach among others. She has worked with various companies like Top Bet Uganda, Baileys, Radio City, Hozi Research Centre and currently works at DOPE SALON as a makeup artist.
The cast team of the movie includes: Nsubuga Arthur acting as Jude, Namara Jolly as Princess Angella, Rose Basemera as Linda, Grace Tusiime, Angel Toni Acer and many others.
NSUBUGA ARTHUR; Featured as JUDE in Judas Kiss, the player-boyfriend. He is a Ugandan film maker who majors in acting, cinematography and animation. He also possesses other skills like Directing and editing among others. He is one of the founders of Rego Media, a media agency based in Uganda rendering services like advertising, graphics and film. He has acted in some of Africa’s greatest films like The CALL GAL, FREEDOM, 94TERROR and The Mistakes Gals Do series.
b) NAMARA JOLLY; Featured as PRINCESS ANGELA in Judas Kiss, the tough sugar mummy. She is a Ugandan actress and model, her love for drama and talent came from way back in school and was credited too. She joined the film industry not long ago and has managed to feature in several films a few are from the Kyooto Media group, Media Vision Academy and many others. She has featured in a number of films including; Fidelity, Esteem, Demented, Judas Kiss and more. Namara who is also popularly known as Mara is a determined girl with a high sense of self drive. She is a very multi-skilled lady.
c) ROSE BASEMERA; Featured as LINDA in Judas Kiss, Jude’s campus girlfriend. She is a professional Ugandan model, actress, basketball player, events host, entrepreneur and fashion designer under her brand “ROMERA”. She has featured in films like Fidelity, Judas Kiss and Nobody Said It Was Easy among others. She has worked with various brands and companies like; Salloona Swimwear, Albert Suits – commercial brochures, Savanna Boulevard, Tondo Clothing, Stephanie Akut, Miss Jetset Magazine, Paparazzi Magazine, Bliss Models, EA Models, ROM3R Styles, Joan Crochets and Am Athletic among others. Nominated for most fashionable female model – Fashion Choice Awards 2019, Favorite Sports personality – Face of Entebbe Community Awards 2018, Best Sports Personality – Walk of Fame Teens awards 2018. d) GRACE TUSIIME; Featured as SUZIE in Judas Kiss, Angela’s hypocritical friend She is a Ugandan actress and a Public Relations Officer at Yoshino Trading Limited, Banda. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management from Uganda Christian University. Her love for drama and talent exposition came from way back in college. She later joined the film industry not long ago and has managed to feature in a number of films including; Fidelity, Esteem, Demented, Judas Kiss and Breach.
e) ANGEL TONI ACER; featured as KABODY in Judas Kiss, the tough torturer. He is Ugandan Actor and Model with an extreme talent in the craft of stage and screen acting. He has worked on several theatres, TV and film projects like: Plays; Lion and The Jewel, The Burdens, Betrayal in the City, Romeo and Juliet, Twelfth Night, Films; 27 Guns, Lost at the sea, Breach, Fidelity, Equanimity, Demented, Esteem, Zombie Apocalypse and Judas Kiss TV Dramas; Love Makanika. As a model he has featured in commercials for various brands like; Vodafone, Airtel Uganda, MTN Uganda, Club Pilsner, Rexona and Café Javas.
