Events promoter and talent manager Abitex has opened up about the dramatic end to his relationship with singer Serena Bata, he has even revealed how she will never have another successful music career since she wasted so much of his money.
Abitex revealed that things took a turn when Serena Bata publicly accused him of having a hidden agenda. This accusation, made during a television appearance, was the final nail in the coffin of their working relationship. Abitex didn't mince his words, saying their fallout wasn't just a regular misunderstanding, but a missed opportunity for Serena.
He also went on to say that he believed he was sent by God to elevate Serena’s career. “She squandered a blessing,” he remarked, adding that his efforts to build her career were thrown away when she chose to turn against him. He even claimed to have cursed her, referring to himself as her ‘god’ in the music industry, implying that Serena’s struggles post-split might be tied to her decision to part ways with him.
According to Abitex, he had big plans for Serena and had positioned her for stardom, but her actions derailed what could have been a thriving career. He emphasized that she had everything she needed to succeed but lost it when she chose to sever ties with him.
Despite the harsh words, Abitex stopped short of completely writing off Serena's future, though he believes she lost out on a significant opportunity. "God used me to help her, but she didn’t see it," he concluded.
