The Judith Nahurira Foundation. Led by the Ugandan philanthropist and entrepreneur, Judith "The Boss Lady UK," has stepped up in a big way to support the survivors of Kiteezi Landfill disaster by running to them with relief.

On Thursday, August 22nd, the Foundation made a visit to the Red Cross Camp in Kitezi, where many survivors, including orphans, are finding refuge. Judith Nahurira and her team didn’t just bring supplies—they brought hope.

The Foundation provided essential items like food and soap to meet the immediate needs of the survivors. But what truly set this visit apart was the long-term commitment made by Judith herself: a promise to educate the children who lost their parents in the tragedy.

This isn’t just another act of charity; it’s a game-changer. Judith "The Boss Lady UK" is making history as the first Ugandan civilian, outside of the Prime Minister’s Office, to offer such a comprehensive plan to support the victims. By committing to the education of over 10 children, she’s giving these young survivors a chance at a brighter future—a future where they can break free from the cycle of poverty.

"I’m humbled to be in a position to give back to the community," said Judith, with her signature blend of humility and determination. "These children need hope, and through education, I’m going to make sure they get it. This will allow their families to focus on surviving today while we prepare them for a better tomorrow."

The impact of this gesture hasn’t gone unnoticed. John Cliff Wamala, who leads the Red Cross team at the camp, expressed deep gratitude. "This is a relief we’ve all been hoping for," he said. "Judith’s commitment is monumental, and it’s a call to action for all Ugandans to think about how we can contribute to both immediate relief and long-term recovery."

This isn’t the first time the Judith Nahurira Foundation has made waves in Uganda. Previously, they’ve rolled out an interest-free loan project in Kalerwe, empowering 26 hard-working Ugandans to improve their lives. The Foundation’s mission is straightforward yet profound: “To empower and protect those in need.”

Now, more than ever, there’s a need for collective action. If you’re inspired by Judith "The Boss Lady UK" and her incredible work, consider partnering with the Judith Nahurira Foundation. Whether it’s through donations, volunteering, or spreading the word, there’s a way for everyone to get involved. Visit www.judith-foundation.org to learn more about how you can contribute.
