Singer Catherine Kusasira has left heads calculating after claiming that she is only 29 years old but became famous at a very young age when she was 19 years in 2003, mathematics that has failed to add up.
Despite the occasional confusion stemming from her vibrant, seasoned persona, the "Si Doggo" hitmaker is proudly proclaiming that she's only 29 years young.
Celebrating her latest birthday last week, Kusasira took to social media to dispel the myths and set the record straight.
"Yes, I’ve turned 29!" she said with a laugh. "I know some folks are a bit puzzled, but let me assure you, age is just a number."
The singer, who first burst onto the music scene at the ripe age of 19 back in 2003, reflected on her career with a mix of nostalgia and amusement. She humorously pointed out how some people seem to age her prematurely, despite the fact that she’s been gracing stages and studios for over two decades.
"I made 29 years. I saw people complaining about it, but for us, we got famous when younger because of the blessings from our parents," Kusasira quipped. "I sang my first song when I was 19 in 2003, so you do the math!"
