South Africa-based Ugandan socialite and businesswoman, Zarinah Tlale aka Zari Hassan, has opened up the viral video showing her car clamped at Paradigm Bar and Lounge, a new hotspot in Kampala, explains why Shakib had to jump in and help.
Through a post put up on her SnapChat, Zari opened up with the full story of what had happened and why her car was clamped.
Despite rumors of it being clamped because she failed to pay her bar bills after a night out, Zari says its because she had parked in a restricted area and her battery died.
Zari clarified that her car had battery issues, and it was parked at the hangout’s parking area while waiting for her husband, Shakib Cham, to fix it in the morning. The car was clamped because it was blocking the gate.
She criticized those spreading false rumors about her inability to pay bar bills, emphasizing that her businesses are running smoothly and she is more than capable of settling her bills.
“When you no longer have dirt on someone, you start making up stories to satisfy your empty souls. The car had battery issues, so it was left at the spot. My husband had to get a new battery to move it in the morning. The clamping was due to parking right in front of the gate, restricting access.
Those who think I can’t afford to pay my bills need to know that my businesses are thriving. Your stories don’t even add up. Yes, I no longer frequent bars as I used to because I have grown and now prioritize other things. Clout doesn’t suit me as an international and successful businesswoman, not a socialite chasing trends. Priorities, darlings!” she posted.
