Through a document put out on his social media, DJ Ciza said that on Wednesday, 01 May 2024, he stepped out of the station and moved onto the next chapter of his life.
Ciza expressed profound gratitude for the unforgettable moments shared during his time with the Kampala-based radio station as he described the experience as a source of comfort and joy, emphasizing the strong connection forged with listeners over the years.
"I'm filled with joy and gratitude for the remarkable and rewarding journey at RADIOCITY 97FM.
For over 10 YEARS, we created harmony together and made this radio journey unforgettable. We connected through the airwaves as they became my home and will always be.
The mic won't rest and the echoes of our shared memories will live forever with me. I'm grateful for the wavelength we traveled together. Here are some of the highlights:
- Hosting #FLIGHT97 & #JamFloorFillers, the best Open Format DJ shows in the land.
- Interviewing & collaborating with amazing artists and personalities. -Reaching and inspiring millions of listeners across the nation and
beyond.
