Former Busiro South MP aspirant Paul Owor has been sent back to Luzira Prison after appearing in court unprepared, he was arrested on 19th December 2023, on allegations of fraud, impersonation and land malpractice.

The controversial figure has been remanded to Luzira Prison after failing to produce all required court documentations.

Owor's troubles began on December 19, 2023, when he was apprehended on charges of fraud, impersonation, and the audacious act of selling the same parcel of land to multiple unsuspecting buyers. The arrest followed a complaint from Loyce Nahwera, one of the purported victims.

Appearing before the Entebbe court, Owor maintained a seemingly shy demeanor as he faced accusations of orchestrating a land scam involving two separate individuals.

Accusations against Owor suggest that he sold a plot of land to an individual just days after executing a similar transaction with a lady. Shockingly, he allegedly handed fake land titles to both parties involved. The accuser revealed that Owor had forged the land titles, claiming they originated from Nasser Road, renowned for its printing services in Kampala.

Summoned to appear before the police on January 26, 2024, on charges of forgery and uttering false documents, Owor refused to comply, further complicating his legal standing.

This incident is not the first time Owor's name has graced the media in connection with controversial matters. Recently, he engaged in a heated verbal exchange with MP Kabanda, accusing the latter of duping him out of $5000 under the pretext of securing a meeting with the head of state.
