Singer Spice Diana was officially introduced as the Brand Ambassador for the DINA Special Children Foundation, located in Mpigi district off Lukalu road, Spice launched the foundation facility, sitting on over 25 acres of land and boasting state-of-the-art housing with more than 240 units dedicated to mothers and children.

DINA Special Children Foundation specializes in rehabilitating children with physical and mental limitations, providing a haven for those with special needs.

The newly inaugurated home aims to offer a supportive and adapted environment where these children can receive specialized care, education, and therapy tailored to their unique requirements.

The unveiling ceremony was attended by notable figures, including the Ambassador of Norway to Uganda, and Mr. Rune Edvardsen, the founder of the DINA Foundation. In his address, Mr. Edvardsen pledged support to combat the stigma against children with disabilities in Uganda, highlighting the importance of collective efforts in fostering an inclusive society.

The foundation's mission extends beyond rehabilitation, aiming to enhance the overall well-being and development of children with disabilities.

The goal is to create an environment that promotes a sense of belonging and inclusion for these remarkable individuals.

The DINA Special Children Foundation is strategically located in Lukalu, Mpigi District, symbolizing a beacon of hope for children with special needs in the region.

Spice Diana, visibly elated at being named the Brand Ambassador, expressed her joy during the event.

She passionately urged parents with children facing social challenges to take pride in them and treat them no differently than others.

Additionally, she encouraged parents struggling to care for such children to reach out to the DINA Special Children Foundation, assuring them that all necessary resources for the rehabilitation process are readily available.
