Through a recent update from the office of the First Lady, Hon. Janet Museveni, who also serves as the Minister of Education and Sports, she confirmed dates for the briefing and release of the 2023 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) UNEB results.
According to a communication signed by Irene Kauma, the Undersecretary/Senior Private Secretary to the First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports, dated January 17, 2024, the initially planned events scheduled for January 17th and 18th, 2024, at State House Nakasero have now been shifted to January 24th and 25th, respectively.
The official announcement outlines the details for the UNEB briefing on the PLE results, scheduled for Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Nakasero State House. The subsequent release of the 2023 PLE results by the Minister of Education is slated for January 25th, also at State House Nakasero.
To ensure the safety of all attendees, the communication advises all invited guests to undergo a Covid-19 test on Tuesday, January 23, at Mulago Platinum Center, running from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
The exclusive list of invitees includes the Commissioner of Guidance and Counseling from the Ministry of Education, along with Ministers of Primary Education, Higher Education, and Secondary Education. Also invited are the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, the Under Secretary for Finance and Administration, the Director of DES, the Acting Director of HTVET, the Director of BSE, among other distinguished guests.
As anticipation builds for the unveiling of the 2023 PLE results, the rescheduled dates promise an engaging and informative session at State House Nakasero, uniting key figures in education to celebrate the academic achievements of the year.
