During his episode of the Mwasuze Mutya show, legendary media personality, Simon Peter Ndawula, aka Omulangira Nduasi, took a trip down memory lane, sharing anecdotes from his early days living with musicians Shanks Vivid and Jose Mayanja aka Jose Chameleone.

During the interview, Omulangira Nduasi dropped a surprising revelation about Chameleone's humble beginnings, disclosing that the now-iconic artist used to be their dishwasher and cleaner in the early days of their friendship.

"Jose Chameleone was my dishwasher and cleaner at home when I was still staying with Shanks in Najjanankumbi," Omulangira Nduasi revealed on the show.

According to the veteran media personality, he discovered Chameleone's musical talent in the most unexpected way. "He used to sing very well, like Buju Banton, and I told Shanks to start moving around with him. We even went to Nairobi together," he added.

Omulangira Nduasi fondly reminisced about how they picked up Chameleone from the areas of Kawempe, where he was passionately engaged in playing pool table at Sande's place. "He used to do that when we were asleep because he was the youngest of us, and we were sheltering him," Omulangira Nduasi explained.
