Caroline Marcah, a former Spark TV and Bukedde TV presenter who currently graces the screen at Pearl Magic, expressed her views on the age-old debate of whether men should give money to women after a date, she said that money makes women so cheap as if they are sumbie vendors getting paid.

Marcah didn't hold back as she called out women who seek financial compensation after a date, comparing them to escorts who get paid for their services.

In her social media statement, she stated, "Giving me money after a date is very lame... like you're paying me for showing up?? Leave that for 'escorts' because that's actually their job description."

The vibrant presenter went on to emphasize the true purpose of dates, breaking it down into two categories.

According to Marcah, dates are either for "crushing on each other (exploring)" or "already dating (spouse duties)." She concluded with a playful touch, saying, "The rest is kwekwabula temwebuzabuza," a humorous nod to the complexities of modern relationships.

Marcah's bold stance on financial dynamics in dating comes in the wake of Galaxy FM presenter Evelyn Mic's recent suggestion that men should increase the transport money given to women after a date from UGX 50,000 to at least UGX 300,000.

As discussions on gender roles and expectations in relationships continue to evolve, Marcah's perspective adds a fresh and entertaining take to the ongoing conversation.

While some may view her comments as controversial, others applaud her for encouraging financial independence and redefining societal norms.
