Western Uganda’s fast-rising star Omega 256 dramatically walked out of a live TV interview on Sanyuka TV’s Crossfire show after host Brian Macona burning her with a hot introduction.
The singer, real name Shamim Murerwa, had been invited as the celebrity guest, but things quickly spiraled out of control when host Macona kicked off with a fiery introduction that left viewers and Omega herself in shock.
In his opening, Macona didn’t hold back—labeling Omega “uneducated,” “arrogant,” claiming she was disowned by her family, branding her a “home wrecker,” accusing her of dyeing her hair to hide her age, and even alleging she had been chasing relationships with singers Ray G and Nobat Events.
Clearly rubbed the wrong way, Omega stormed off the set, only to be persuaded back. But just when fans thought the storm had calmed, Macona pushed further, pointing out her visible skin patches and claiming she had “run out of bleaching cream.”
That was the last straw. Omega 256 got up and walked out of the studio for good, calling the questions disrespectful and an attempt to tarnish her reputation.
The incident has now set social media on fire, with fans divided—some blasting Macona for humiliating a guest live on air, while others argue that celebrities should be ready for tough questions.
