Police have thrown Shs50 million on the table for anyone who can help arrest the mystery suspect behind the gruesome murder of 69-year-old David Mutaaga and his wife Deborah Florence, 62, in Entebbe’s Lugonjo-Nakiwogo. They have released the CCTV footage.
The couple, who had just returned from Europe, were found brutally killed in their home on July 6 — and now, all eyes are on one chilling voice recording.
In a new twist, Police dropped a voice clip of the killer himself mid-action saying, “Mutaaga, come save your wife.” 😳
That’s the voice they want. Find the man, win the money — straight up.
Police spokesperson Kituuma Rusoke confirmed, “The moment you deliver the suspect or lead us to him, the Shs50 million is yours. Cash. Full stop.”
Tip-offs can be made anonymously via 0769675918. Your safety, they say, is guaranteed.
What really happened?
According to detectives, the couple had only just returned from abroad when unknown attackers struck inside their home. Their shamba boy, Ronald Golooba, was the one who raised the alarm, thinking it was just robbery.
But when cops arrived — horror.
The couple was found dead inside the house, both stabbed below the chest. The woman was found partially undressed, adding a dark, disturbing layer to the crime.
CCTV showed thugs jumping over the fence, forcing their way through a window near the master bedroom. A sniffer dog lost their scent at the gate — meaning they likely fled through there.
So now, it’s a full-on manhunt. CCTV is out, audio is out, and a big bag of cash is on the line.
