Radio personality and podcaster Doreen Nasasira has revealed that she rejected a Shs360 million offer from a wealthy man who wanted her to accept his romantic advances, insisting that money is a turn-off when it comes to winning her affection.

Nasasira made the revelation while discussing the attention she receives from men, including younger admirers who frequently slide into her inbox asking for a chance to date her.

She said some of the young men claim they can handle her despite their age, leaving her questioning what exactly they mean by such statements.

However, the media personality revealed that even a huge financial offer has failed to impress her, recounting how a wealthy man recently approached her with Shs360 million in exchange for her acceptance.

“I didn’t say I was searching, but a sugar daddy is in there, and he recently approached me with money. I don’t know why some men front money because, for me, it’s a turn-off. He told me he had Shs 360 million for me to say yes to him,” she said.

Nasasira explained that she turned down the offer after suspecting that the man could have been trying to prove a point to his friends rather than genuinely pursuing a relationship with her.

“Maybe he wanted to use me as a bet to win among his boys that he can get me at Shs 360 million? I can’t accept that,” she added.

The podcaster said she prefers a traditional approach to dating, where a man takes time to know her and allows a relationship to develop naturally instead of relying on money to win her over.

She explained that her ideal romance involves going on dates and building affection gradually through simple gestures such as hugging and kissing.

“I reject such approaches for health reasons, and also I like the old-school kind of way of vibing, where you take me process by process, go on dates, hug, kiss… like that,” she said.

Nasasira’s remarks underline her preference for genuine connection over financial offers, despite the attention she says she receives from men seeking a romantic relationship with her.
