Ugandan singer Ava Peace has revealed that she spends more than $3,000 on maintaining her beauty, including her makeup and skincare routine.
Speaking to NRG Radio Uganda, the singer initially appeared hesitant to disclose the amount, saying she expected people to be shocked by the figure. She later confirmed that her beauty routine costs her more than $3,000.
Ava Peace also revealed that she sometimes gets skincare products through her brother, who works as a teacher in Thailand.
“I have a brother who’s a teacher in Thailand. I usually contact him for my skincare, but right now someone has to take over $3,000, but I know people are going to get angry.”
The singer further addressed the question of who finances her beauty maintenance, making it clear that she does not rely on men to pay for her appearance.
According to Ava Peace, she is comfortable spending her own money on beauty because she considers it an investment in herself and her public image.
“It’s only up to you to know that maybe I need it, but if you don’t do it, I won’t force you because they are mine. So it is very okay to use my money because at the end of the day, you’re the very person who’s going to be with your friends and be proud of my looks.”
Her comments offer a glimpse into the amount she says she is willing to invest in maintaining her appearance as a public figure.
