Renown city events promoter and organizer Abby Musinguzi aka Abitex Promotions has been remanded to Kitalya Prison for a full week following a massive stampede that saw 10 people die at an event he staged at Freedom City.
Abitex promotions has been remanded to prison until 10th January as Police conducts deep invstigations into the case.
was arraigned before the Makindye Magistrate’s Court where judge Igga Adiru charged him with 9 counts of Negligent act occasioning the death of nine victims.

According to the allegations, Abitex put people’s lives in danger by cutting off other exits from the venue gates, leaving only one tiny gate which couldn’t accommodate more than 20,000 people to leave safely.
