Ahead of the new Uganda Premier League season, Express FC has continued to beef up its squad with the addition of another player from Vipers SC Allan Kayiwa.
The forward joins as a free agent from Vipers after seeing off his contract with the Kitende based side where he spent three years.
On joining the seven time champions, Kayiwa said....
“I am happy to be joining Express FC, I already feel at home. The environment is good and all players and staff have been good to me, I believe with Express FC I am going to be able to archive big things and help the club win.”
He therefore becomes the second player from Vipers SC to join the James Odoch coached side after the recent arrival of Joseph Dhata.
Speaking of the new acquisition, Express FC head coach had thi yo tell the club media;
“We have been following Allan Kayiwa for sometime now and he is a player we have wanted to have, as a club we understand that to compete at the highest level, we must have the best players in the country who bring both technical and experience to the squad
With Allan Kayiwa we are certain we have that.”
He joins new recruits at the Club who include Benjamin Gakumba, Anwar Ntege, Andrew Kaggwa, Marvin Oshaba and Hamim Ssemakula.
