Following the opening match of this year’s Masaza Cup tournament last weekend when Buddu and Mawogola played a goalless draw, action resumed this weekend with Buwekula and Singo winning 1:0 against Gomba and Kyadondo respectively.
Shaft can Kakande scored for Buwekula as they edged past record Champions Gomba (5) in Mubende municipality At Kasenyi play Ground.
Amuli Mukasa scored for Singo as the two time champions beat Kyadondo 1:0 at Singo Saza Ground in Mityana.
At Manyi Stadium, home side Busujju fell to a 2:1 loss to Bulemeezi FC. Thanks to goals from Emayo Calvin Peter and Sulaiman Oscar Ssesaazi (p)for Bulemeezi whereas David Kitaka scored a consolation for Busujju.
Action resumes on Sunday 10th July 2022 with Buwekula making a trip to Buwama for a clash with Mawokota whereas Gomba will host Kooki at Kabulasoke and Singo will make a trip to Mawogola.
