Uganda Police has detained musicians Ibrahim Mayanja alias Big Eye Starboss and Omukunja Atasera at National Theatre on Tuesday.
The two have been netted and taken to Kampala Central Police Station while protesting the postponement of the Uganda Musicians Associations (UMA) elections.
The 'Indicator' singer and the UMA General Secretary hopeful have been spotted while crying out for mercy as they were being roughed up by the law enforcers onto the police vans.
The steamy 'UMA' polls were due for Tuesday 28th, 2022 as announced by the body Electoral Commission Committee last month after Presidential aspirant King Saha complained of the voting process being untransparent.
