The Former speaker of Parliament and minister for East African Affairs, Hon. Rebecca Kadaga has demanded for an immediate apology from Pastor Robert Kayanja for tarnishing the image of the 10th parliament.
Over the Easter weekend, it is said that the Rubaga Miracle Centre senior pastor stated that the 10th parliament let the country down.
Through her Twitter, Kadaga wrote;
" Pastor Kayanja , you owe an apology to the people of Uganda and the 10th Patliament whose legacy you are distorting. No Budget for a refinery was presented or rejected, please substantiate, which meeting, which sitting and which session this happened parliament "- she tweeted.
The government has completed the acquisition of the land for the project and paid off the project-affected people.
